Meet Maureen Johnson, LMHC

Maureen Johnson, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor with a master’s degree in psychology, dedicated to helping families, parents, and adolescents build resilience and emotional well-being. She believes families are the foundation of the community—when families thrive, individuals and communities thrive too.

Maureen specializes in supporting adolescents and parents as they navigate the challenges of anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. With a compassionate and collaborative approach, she creates a safe space for healing and equips clients with practical coping tools to manage stress and improve communication.

Many families experience difficult seasons—whether balancing the care of aging parents, navigating grief and loss, or supporting teenagers through the ups and downs of adolescence. Maureen provides therapy in Broward County and Fort Lauderdale, helping clients foster patience, empathy, and stronger connections within their homes.
